Last month I spent my holidays to Japan. I loved it! I have spent there best days of my life. When I returned, Japan was in my mind constantly. I fell in love with Japanese culture, atmosphere and everything connected with that country. I started to read Japanese literature, preparing Japanese cuisine and getting more and more fascinated with Japanese culture. I know that this might sound a bit weird but I couldn’t help it. If I only could, I would possibly move to Japan. Unluckily, for various reasons, I just couldn’t. Thus, I was doing my best to surround myself with as many Japanese objects as possible.

Many my friends were aware of my Japanese passion. I need to admit they were very tolerant about it. They were repeatedly going out with me for sushi but there was nothing else they could do for me. At least I believed that. But then 1 day my colleague told me about oriental wallpaper he saw in a shop. At the beginning I didn’t know what oriental wallpaper means but I went with my friend to that shop to check it up. As soon as I saw it I just knew this was perfect for me. That was truly gorgeous. What my colleague showed me was a wallpaper with amazing patterns on it. Nonetheless, that was not some banal patterns E.g., on the flowers wallpaper I have seen cherry blossom. I assume you know that cherry blossom is quite a symbol of Japan. So, I believe that you could imagine how overjoyed I was when I saw it! Between many other wallpapers, I have picked also another oriental wallpaper, with Japanese food which I was missing so much. I know it sounds amazing that I managed to find accurately what I was needed. But believe me – modern wallpapers have almost every pattern you can look for. And even if it doesn’t, you could design your own wallpaper with pattern you want! I not only bought two wallpapers I saw, but also ordered 2 more which I wanted to have in my room.

As a result of this, walls in my room enable me to feel like I live in Japan. This is so much greater than just plain, uninteresting walls I used to have in my apartment before. So, if you are obsessed with something so badly as I was haunted by Japan, I would recommend to think about using wallpapers! It can help to fill your apartment with the atmosphere of the area you are missing – I wonder about flowers wallpaper.
